Q1: Can I attend events if I am not a BTRi member?
- +Yes, most of our events and activities are open to all industry players. However, there will be some events and activities open to members only and you are welcome to join our members to enjoy exclusive benefits.
Q2: How can I pay the event fee?
- +We offer flexible payment methods for your convenience. You can complete your payment through the following channels:
a. Online Payment
You can pay securely via credit card or other supported online payment gateways directly on our website.
b. Offline Payment
You can also pay the event fee via cheque payment and bank transfer. Please ensure you include the invoice number as a payment reference to facilitate timely processing.
Q3: How can I confirm that my registration and payment were successful?
- +After you complete the online registration and payment process, you will automatically receive a confirmation email.
For participants who choose offline payment method, a confirmation email will be sent once we have confirmed receipt of your payment.

Q4: When will I receive the check-in instructions for the event?
- +You will receive a confirmation email, including check-in instructions and a dedicated registration QR code, prior to the event. If you do not receive this email, please contact us at member@btri.hk.
Q5: What if the event is fully booked?
- +You can register for our waiting list. If a spot becomes available, we will notify you according to your position on the waitlist.
Q6: How can I cancel my registration and request a refund?
- +You can contact us at member@btri.hk to cancel your registration. However, please note that the event fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Q1: Is membership open to companies or organizations based outside of Hong Kong?
- +Yes, our membership welcomes universities, government, and industry partners from outside Hong Kong to join us in driving construction innovation forward.

- +No, the BTRi membership fee and member benefits are non-transferable and non-assignable.
Q6: How can I log in to my BTRi member account for the first time?
- +Upon successful payment, you will receive a welcome email containing your first account login details. This email includes your member ID, registered email address, and a one-time password. Click the activation link provided to get started. You can then set a new password for your account.

Membership Renewal
Q1: When do I need to renew my membership?
- +The membership period is from 1 January to 31 December. You will receive a renewal reminder email around in late November. Please ensure your annual membership fee is settled by 1 January of the following year.
Q2: What would happen if I forgot to renew the membership by the deadline?
- +After the expiry date, your BTRi membership will be deactivated and removed from our member list. As this will affect your access to BTRi member benefits, we encourage you to renew the membership before the expiry date.
Q3: Can I upgrade my membership from Elite Member to Patron Member during the year?
- +Yes, please contact us at member@btri.hk for upgrade assistance.
Please be advised that the Patron membership fee will not be calculated or adjusted on a pro-rata basis upon your upgrade application.
Update Membership Details
Q1: How can I modify the member profile?
- +You can modify your member profile by log in to the membership portal. However, if you would like to update the company or organization name, please contact us at member@btri.hk and provide relevant supporting documents.
Q2: What can I do if I forgot my password?
- +Click ‘Forgot Password’ and follow the instructions. The system will send an email to your registered email address for resetting password.
