This seminar will bring together key representatives from government, industry leaders, academia to discuss how the construction industry can proactively integrate AI, robotics, and advanced technologies to accelerate the infrastructure development in Hong Kong – moving from roadmap to on-the-ground impact.

Panel discussion 1: From Vision to Reality: Policy, Standards, and Industry Readiness

This discussion moves beyond high-level policies to explore how government policies and industry standards can enable the practical deployment of AI, robotics, and advanced technologies in real-world projects. The discussion will also explore the required mechanisms – such as targeted policy initiatives, accreditation and certification schemes – that build a supportive ecosystem for adoption.

Panel discussion 2: From Challenges to Success: Practical Strategies for Advanced Technologies Adoption

This discussion focuses on actionable strategies for overcoming common hurdles—from pilot stages to organisation-wide adoption. Leveraging past successful cases, the discussion will provide a practical toolkit for addressing technical, cultural and financial barriers to scaling proven solutions in Hong Kong.

The event will conclude with a networking session, providing excellent opportunities to engage with government officials, industry leaders, and academic experts.
