In 1982, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Group and China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. (CHEC ) established a representative company in Hong Kong: Zhenhua Engineering Co., Ltd. CHEC currently has more than 1,200 employees and adheres to the business philosophy of being rooted in Hong Kong and building for the people. CHEC has undertaken more than 350 various infrastructure projects, including civil engineering, maritime, housing construction, foundation, and environmental protection projects, and also engages in diversified businesses such as real estate development, trade procurement, and machinery and equipment leasing. CHEC holds the highest qualifications for contracting projects in five areas: construction, port engineering, roads and drainage, site formation, and waterworks.
